HIGA!: 4th Meeting of Young Speakers of Minoritized Languages

Experiences of participants

HIGA's objectives HIGA 2025 has a clear mission: to empower young speakers of minority languages to become agents of change in their communities and globally. Through academic training, practical activities, and the exchange of experiences, HIGA seeks to contribute significantly to linguistic revitalization and youth activism.

Mariam, TAMAZIGH

"It's a great space and opportunity to gather and meet indigenous youth and minorities from different places and countries."

Teija, SAAMI

"I got new inspiration to work on my language. The nicest was to notice that friends who speak minority languages have similar experiences, even though they are from all over the world."

Talwyn, BREZHONEG

"Each person who travelled to Vitoria-Gasteiz came to celebrate multilingualism and shared their story."
